FDA registration is a set of mandates that regulate manufacturing operations for facilities involved in the production and distribution of supplements in the United States. It determines whether a facility has the appropriate resources, including equipment and personnel, to perform the manufacturing operations.

Third Party Tested Supplements means that after a supplement is manufactured it is then sent to an independent and unaffiliated testing company which tests the finished supplement for label accuracy and purity before it is sold to the consumer. Products not tested by an independent third party company could have little to no active ingredients, or have more then the label claims or could have other ingredients or impurities in it that you don’t want to ingest and the brand selling it would not even know until it was to late.

There are certain stipulations that must be met for manufacturers to put “Made in the USA” on their products. These stipulations, called Country of Origin, or COO, requirements are different in every country but are particularly stringent in the United States. For manufacturers to legally tout that their products are Made in the USA, the FTC dictates that “all or virtually all” of the item must be produced in the United States. “All or virtually all” means that the majority of the product’s components have been created in the U.S.
